G-MAILS AND HOTMAILS WEEK 1

TASK:                         Create E-mail Accounts

• G-mail with contacts and group contact list

• Hotmail with contacts and group contact list

STEPS:

1. Create a G-Mail and a Hotmail account.

      2.      Sign into the email account created and click on the dropdown menu   /app icon.                                 

       3.     Select contacts/people.

      4.      Add each individual email using the "new-contacts and contact group/list" feature.

      5.       Using 'Manage' or 'More' tab you may import contacts from another email account.

The challenge I faced whilst completing this task was importing my contacts from G-mail to my hotmail account.

THEN.....

                                             

  IT HIT ME........... I overcame this challenge by exploring the different menu options that were available to and after 40 minutes of tampering, I successfully completed the task BY MYSELF!!!!!!!

I learnt how to create contacts list in class today and the experience has benefitted me by letting me realize how important emails are as a tool of communication.  I will definitely include what I learnt in my teaching practice by having my students execute this exact task so that communicating can be sent to multiple individuals at one time.
